Mi presento.

Mi chiamo Lorenza Bacchieri e sono : una make-up artist, hair stylist, stylist, creatrice di abbigliamento e accessori su misura e una modella attiva nel settore fotografico e video dal 2007 col mio brand Ladydiabolika.

Con Nikon Italia ho una pluriennale collaborazione tuttora in corso in qualità di: stylist, make-up artist e hair stylist per gli eventi live e all’interno della Nikon School.
Con Adorn, azienda di prodotti per acconciature, ho una collaborazione pluriennale per quanto riguarda tutti gli eventi live dedicati all’hairstyling.
La mia eclettica esperienza professionale va dal commerciale, al fashion, corporate, celebrities, glamour e fine art. Avendo anche una lunga esperienza davanti all’obbiettivo so come dare risalto alle modelle che mi vengono affidate, sono molto attenta ai dettagli e sono abituata ad ascoltare e gestire velocemente le richieste sul set.

Perchè dovreste ingaggiarmi ?

Sono una persona dinamica e con forte spirito d’iniziativa.
La mia esperienza personale, come modella prima e successivamente come stylist, make up artist ed hairstylist, mi rende un elemento utile e versatile nel processo creativo di un progetto.
Il mio punto di vista non viene mai imposto, ma proposto al team come alternativa a fuoco con quello che si sta facendo.
Essendo inoltre abituata a dar vita sartorialmente alle mie creazioni, posso aiutarvi a sviluppare anche le vostre idee con lo stesso entusiasmo e amore per il dettaglio.
Infine posso affermare di aver maturato negli anni esperienze formative molto diverse tra loro, a partire dal mio primo lavoro come assistente di volo, passando poi attraverso un lavoro multitasking all’interno di un management musicale, per poi iniziare la mia personale avventura imprenditoriale nel 2007 : Ladydiabolika.

Biografia

Avrei potuto chiamarmi Ladymultitasking ,ma “suonava male” e così, in una notte d’inverno buia e tempestosa, pensando a una versione femminile di Diabolik, E’ nata : Ladydiabolika !

Multitasking perchè ho dovuto sviluppare diverse abilità nel corso della mia formazione professionale e tali abilità penso siano ben sintetizzate con un pizzico di provocazione nel mio Brand.

Mi sono avvicinata per la prima volta al mondo creativo circa una decina di anni fa realizzando costumi di scena per diverse agenzie di spettacolo con cui mi è capitato di collaborare e da allora non ho mai smesso, ho anzi intrapreso un cammino evolutivo inaspettato che mi ha portato ad occuparmi di immagine a 360°

L’aspetto pratico di realizzazione è qualcosa che non mi è pervenuto in modo accademico, ma che ho assimilato in famiglia, osservando il lavoro meticoloso di mia madre, che è sempre stata una sarta abilissima , ed è da lei che ho appreso come dar vita su tessuto alle mie idee.

D’altra parte io arrivo da studi linguistici ben distanti dall’universo sartoriale, che tuttavia mi sono stati altrettanto utili nella mia fase evolutiva e di ricerca.
Ho anche esercitato per qualche anno la professione di assistente di volo viaggiando in tutto il mondo con un occhio sempre attento per lo stile e le novità, ciò ha, penso, contribuito molto su una visione più aperta.

Ho avuto anche la possibilità di poter lavorare in un management musicale per qualche anno e anche da questo ambiente ho assimilato diverse cose utili a livello organizzativo per aprire finalmente la mia attività.

Quando poi finalmente ho pensato di avviare un’attività on-line, mi sono scontrata presto con l’importanza di una buona presentazione del proprio lavoro attraverso l’immagine.
Questo ha fatto sì che decisessi di mettermi in gioco in prima persona, indossando le mie creazioni davanti a un obbiettivo. Inizialmente per avere materiale fotografico per poi proporre un prodotto, ma in un secondo momento per creare veri e propri mondi intorno a un’idea di partenza, spesso sviluppata insieme ai fotografi che poi mi è capitato di conoscere in questi anni.

E’ così che è iniziata nel 2006 la mia gavetta fotografica nel settore modeling, tra una collaborazione e l’altra, inizialmente con persone appassionate di fotografia fino poi ad arrivare a fotografi professionisti che hanno creduto in me e mi hanno dato la possibilità di crescere professionalmente.
Dalla mia parte avevo naturalmente delle discrete capacità di posa e delle altrettanto discrete abilità di trucco dovute a un corso di make up correttivo, frequentato ancora in epoca non sospetta.

Oltre a questo, fin da piccola, ho avuto modo di passare lunghe giornate ad osservare mia nonna che lavorava come visagista. Logicamente la osservavo con gli occhi di una bambina, ma non si può certo dire che ciò non abbia influito in qualche modo sul mio percorso.

L’idea è partita da lì, poi la formazione e soprattutto anni di sperimentazione hanno fatto il resto. Sono una persona molto curiosa e attenta alle novità, amo fare ricerca e in questo il web è una risorsa pressoché inesauribile, infine cerco sempre di personalizzare ciò che ho assimilato.

Ho iniziato il mio lavoro di make up artist su me stessa, non ho mai avuto un viso facile da truccare e suppongo che questo sia stato già una bella “palestra” in partenza. Il complesso step successivo è stato quello di imparare a trasferire queste conoscenze acquisite con la pratica su altre persone e quando lavori sugli altri ci sono molteplici varianti da comprendere per riuscire a valorizzare qualsiasi viso.

Contemporaneamente al make up ho dovuto imparare a gestire l’aspetto capelli e in questo campo posso dire di essere completamente autodidatta. E’ stato praticamente immediato per me vedere che un buon make up da solo non è abbastanza e che, ai fini di un’immagine curata e d’impatto, anche i capelli devono essere acconciati nel modo adatto al tipo di immagine che si vuole creare.
In questo percorso mi ha aiutata certamente una buona manualità di base, il resto è stata ricerca di materiali e strumenti per facilitarmi il compito, più un pizzico di creatività unita a tanta sperimentazione anche in questo campo. Come per il make up, anche la struttura dei capelli è un aspetto sempre variabile ed è fondamentale imparare a capire velocemente in che modo intervenire per ottenere l’effetto desiderato.

Un altro aspetto che chiude un po’ il cerchio del mio percorso evolutivo è stato lo styling, chiude per modo di dire dal momento che in tutti i campi è fondamentale tenersi costantemente aggiornati e non smettere mai di imparare.
Nel momento in cui la fotografia è diventata anche per me uno strumento per evocare mondi è stato inevitabile capire che ogni mondo ha il suo linguaggio e come tale va studiato con attenzione. Per una fotografia curata al massimo è necessario ricercare tutti i dettagli per creare l’atmosfera che si vuole evocare, dall’outfit all’accessorio, tutto per creare una visione d’insieme che generalmente si sviluppa con lo staff creativo con cui si lavora.

Personalmente ho dovuto imparare a gestire diversi aspetti, tuttavia amo lavorare in team creativi dove ognuno ha un ruolo preciso volto a raggiungere uno scopo collettivo.

My name is Lorenza Bacchieri, known in the photographic scene as: Ladydiabolika.

I’m a make-up artist, hair stylist, stylist, made to measure outfits and accessories creator, and a model.
I’m in the business since 2007 with my brand Ladydiabolika and trough some stable collaborations.
I have a 5 years collaboration with Nikon Italia as a stylist, make-up artist and hairstylist for all the live and Nikon school activities.
I have a 3 years collaboration with Adorn, a hairstyling products company which I represent in main live events.
I do collaborate with several other brands giving my expertise either as a stylist, as a make-up artist or both.
My experience goes from commercial, fashion, corporate, celebrities, glamour and fine art. Having also a long experience in front of the camera I know how to make models stand out and I’m a very careful listener on set, so definitely an active team member.

Why you should hire me ?

I’m a dynamic person with a strong sense of initiative.
My personal experience, as a model first and after that as a stylist, make up artist and hairstylist, makes me a very useful and eclectic element in the creative process of a project.
My point of view is never forced, but given to the team as an alternative option always focused on what we are working on.
Since I’m used to give life to my own creations through hand-crafted tailored work I can also help you to create your ideas with the same enthusiasm and love for details.
In the end I can say that through the years I’ve learnt a lot working in very different fields , beginning from my first job as a flight attendant, passing through a multitasking job inside a music management and after that finally starting my personal business adventure in 2007 : Ladydiabolika.

Biography

I should have called myself Ladymultitasking, but it “didn’t sound good” so, in a dark and stormy winter night, thinking about a female Diabolik version, is born : Ladydiabolika !

Multitasking because I had to improve several skills during my professional evolution and I think that those skills, with a little provocative twist, are well represented by my Brand.

I came to the creative world for the first time about 10 years ago creating scene costumes for several show agencies I used to collaborate with and since then I never stopped, I walked through an evolution path which brought me to deal with a 360° image business.

The handcrafting side is something that came to me in a non-accademic way, I’ ve learnt it from my family, watching my mother’s detailed work, who has always been a very smart tailor, she’s the one who taught me to give life to my ideas on textiles.

I’ve attended foreign languages studies which are very far from the sartorial universe, but still very helpful in my research process and in my evolution. I’ve also been working previously as a flight attendant for few years flying across the world keeping an eye open for style and new ideas, I think this contributed a lot to an open-minded view.

I’ve also had the opportunity to work for a music management for a few years and from this chance I’ve learnt several things in the management department which were very useful to finally start my own activity.

When I finally opened my on-line business, I had to learn quickly the importance of a good presentation of my work through the image.
This brought me to the idea to wear my own creations in front of the camera. Firstly to have material to sell my product but, after that, to create a complete universe based on a starting idea and evolved most of the time with the photographers that I’ve met through these years.

So in 2006 my modeling career began through one collaboration to another, starting from “amateur” photographers up to professionals who believed in my skills and gave me the chance to grow professionally. On my side I had good posing skills and also good make up skills due to a corrective make up course attended previously.

Beside that , since I was a child, I had the chance to spend long days with my grandmother who used to work as a cosmetician. I observed her work with the eyes of a child of course, but I can’t say that this didn’t leave a mark somehow on my path.

That’s how the idea came to my mind, then my studies and most of all, years of practice, helped me to grow professionally. I’m a very curious person with an eye open for new trends, I love surfing the web for my researches, since you can find almost all you need and then I like to give my personal touch to what I learn.

I’ve started my make up artist work on myself, I’ve never had an easy face to make up and I suppose this was a good “training” to begin. The complex step afterward was to learn how to transfer all this knowledge achieved through practice on other people and when you work on others, there are several things to take care of in order to get the best out of any face.

At the same time I had to learn how to take care of hair style as well as make up and in this field I can say that I have learnt all by myself. I saw immediately that a good make up is not enough and if you want to get an impact image, hair must have the right style according to the image that you want to create. Handling hair easily was a good starting point, then I’ve researched the right materials and tools to make my work even more easy. Even in this field practice and a little creativity is very important. As for make up, the structure of hair is changing most of the time so the challenge is to understand quickly how to work on hair in order to get what you want.

Styling was another aspect of my evolution path, I can’t say that it ends the circle of my evolution since you can never stop to be updated in these fields. When photography became also for me a way to evoke different worlds, I had to learn that every world has his own language and it must be studied carefully. For an outstanding photo everything from the outfit to any singular detail must be chosen in order to get the creative staff’s vision.

Personally I had to learn how to manage several aspects on my own, but I love to work with creative teams where everybody has a fundamental role to achieve a goal.
